BBC Three Blobs

THE BRIEF

From conception the “blobs” had a strict set of guidelines that required they should exist within a non-location specific environment. It was decided to move them on from this to become more intrinsically linked to BBC Three and expand both their and in turn the channel’s, personality.

THE SOLUTION

We created monolithic “Three’s” that became like a city/landscape that the Blobs could inhabit. The world of Three. The Blobs were therefore able to interact with “the Channel” and use it as their playground.

THE RESULT

The association between the channel and the “blobs” became much better integrated and hence it’s personality was much better defined. The profile of the channel was heightened and viewing figures continued to improve.
